$\implies$34 = 2 (3x + 2)

$\implies$34 = 6x + 4

$\implies$34 - 4 = 6x

$\implies$30 = 6x

$\implies$x = 30/6

$\implies$x = 5

The breadth of the rectangle is 5 cm

• The length of the rectangle = 2x + 2

$\implies$2 (5) + 2

$\implies$ 10 + 2

$\implies$12

The length of the rectangle is 12 cm
