Sub:- Raising concern about the negative effects of bursting crackers.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to draw your attention towards the raising negative effects of bursting crackers in our area and in the city. From the past few days I am experiencing a lot of tumult of loud bursting crackers polluting everything it can and taking over all other sources of pollution.

                          Enlisting all the side effects of pollution is difficult but the concern of this letter is to request an authority with power to convey a message to all the people of city especially my area to understand the demerits of crackers. We can list a number of cons of crackers but very few pros except the feeling of satisfaction to some but it is not only an issue of an area or city its the matter of the nation now, India is leading the global charts not only in population index but in pollution index too which is not a very good index to be proud of leading. I would request you to research on this issue and publish all the linked studies and to covey this very predominant message with your vision in your leading newspaper so that every Indian can be confronted with the reality and understand it. Hopefully we can decrease these practices to some extent by your efforts.
