Since there is no external force ,,,so, momentum will be conserved....

let the velocity of man after collision be v

initial momentum=0

As mentioned above that there is no external force so, final momentum will also zero

momentum,of man,after collision=50×v

momentum of stone after collision=.5×(-2)=1

total final momentum=50v-1

this will be eqaul to initial momentum

50v-1=0

v=.02

time taken by stone to cover 10m distance=10/2=5sec

distance covered by man in the same time=.02×5=.1m

this distance is above 10m

from the stone, distance travelled by man=10+.1=10.1m{hope it helps}
