• Canton is situated in more northern portion of our planet than Kolkata.

• The temperature of the regions near the polar regions are colder than the regions in the centre portion of our planet.

• And the Canton is more near to the North pole than the Kolkata.

For this reason the Canton is colder in winter season than Kolkata.
