Kolkatas wind blow from west coast and it has a good climatic condition

This is because Kolkata is on eastern coast and experience south west monsoon wind which bring heavy rainfall in winter while Lucknow is in Uttar Pradesh and experience continental type of climate and gets less rainfall than Kolkata because it receives rainfall from north east monsoon winds and most of its moisture is lost till it reaches lucknow.
