Cost of 12 oranges = Rs. 5

Loss after selling 12 oranges = Rs. 4

C.P − S.P = Loss

Rs (5−S.P)=Rs. 4

S.P = Rs. 1

∴ selling price of 12 oranges = Rs. 1

Selling price of 1 orange = Rs.

12

1

= Rs. 0.083.
