Step-by-step explanation:

In case of Krish :-

Side of square park = 65 m

Perimeter of square park = 4 × 65m

= 260m

Number of times Krish runs around the square park = 2

Therefore,

Total distance run by Krish = 2 × 260m

= 520 m

In case of Ritu :-

Length of the rectangular park = 55m

Breadth of the rectangle park = 25m

Perimeter of the rectangular park = 2×(55 + 25) m

= 2 × 80 m

= 160 m

Number of times Ritu runs around the rectangular park = 3

Therefore,

Total distance run by Ritu = 3 × 160m

= 480m

So, the distance run by Krish is more than Ritu (520 m > 480m) and by 40 m
