Total Cost = 12c

5% profit = 1.05*12c = 12.6c

x*1.1c + (12-x) *0.9c = 12.6c

1.1xc + 10.8c - 0.9xc = 12.6c

0.2xc = 1.8c

x = 1.8 /0.2 = 9
