Krishnadevaraya of the Vijaya Nagar Empire was a contemporary of Balban out of Akbar, Firuz, Shah Tughlaq and Babur.
His full name was Ghiyas ud din Balban and his original name was Baha Ud Din he belonged to the Mamluk dynasty and was it’s ninth sultan.
He was the most powerful ruler of the sultanate after Iltutmish and Alauddin Khalji in spite of few military achievements.
