Krutika, Alex and Gordon share £49 in a ratio 3:3:1. How much money does each person get?

Let the no. be x

so,

3x : 3x : 1x => 3x + 3x + 1x = 49 => 7x =49

=> x = 49/7 => x = 7.

Krutika => 3x = 3*7 = 21 dollar bills

Alex => 3x = 3*7 = 21 dollar bills

Gordon 1x => 1*7 = 7 dollar bills
