Given :

Kumar Mangalam earns rupees 15000 per month

He spends rupees 8000 on food rupees 2000 on the house rent and rupees 2,000 on the education of his son

To Find :

calculate his yearly savings

Solution:

Kumar spent on food rupees = Rs.8000

He spent on house rent = Rs.2000

He spent on education of his son = Rs.2000

He spent total amount = 8000+2000+2000=Rs.12000

His monthly income was Rs.15000

So, His savings = 15000-12000=Rs.3000

Hence His yearly savings is Rs.3000
