Let the amount given to his friends be x, 3x and 6x respectively.

Therefore,

According to question ;     x + 3x + 6x = 1500

                                           10x = 1500

                                           x = 1500/10

                                           x = Rs 150

Therefore ,

Amount given to first friend = x = Rs 150

Amount given to second friend = 3x = 3 * 150 = Rs 450

Amount given to third friend = 6x = 6 * 150 = Rs 900

Hope it helps.

Step-by-step explanation:

let the ratio be: 1x, 3x, and 6x.

As per question,

1x+3x+6x= 1500

10x= 1500

x= 1500/10

x= 150

person 1: 1*150= 150

person 2: 3*150= 450

person 3: 6*150= 900
