Answer:

Marked Price, MP of a shirt = ₹ 1500

1st discount on each item = 20% of 1500 = 20/100 × 1500 = ₹ 300

Selling Price, SP after 1st discount

= (MP) - (Discount) = ₹1500 - ₹300

= ₹1200

2nd discount over the existing discount = 25% of 1200 = 25/100 × 1200 = ₹300

Selling Price, SP after 2nd discount

=(MP) - (Discount)= ₹1200 - ₹300 = ₹900

Therefore, Kunal paid ₹900 for the shirt.
