Nope, it is not at all necessary to have social science to study in Chartered Accountancy course. The main subjects needed are Business Studies, Accounts, &a Business Economics. However, in the enterance exam you would have to study Maths along with Law & Communication Skills. Law will be carried out till the final year of CA

But if you opt HEC or CEC in your +1 or +2 then you would have to go for it! Or you can simply opt Maths with commerce.
