Kyle got 75% in setA and got 35% in setB . he thinks the his overall score should be 55% but the teacher gives him 50%. why is the teacher right?​

Let the total marks of both the set be 100.

Marks obtained in Set A = 75% of 100 = 75

Marks obtained in Set B = 35% of 100 = 35

Total marks of both set = 200

Total marks obtained = 75 + 35 = 110

Percentage of marks = 110×100/200 = 55%
