LCM(a,b)*HCF(a,b)=a*b
120*10=a*b
a=120. b=10
a+b=120+10=130
120*10=a*b
a=120. b=10
a+b=120+10=130

HI
L.C.M of two numbers is 120 and their H.C.F is 10
hcf is 10
if lcm is 120 then the 2 numbers is below 120
= > multiples of 10below 120 = 10,20,30,40...110
=>now in this a *b = 120*10
=> a*b = 1200
=> there are 2 possibilities
=>30 *40 = 1200
=> 10 *120 = 1200
hcf of 10 and 120 = 10 and lcm is 120
in the same way hcf of 30 and 40 = 10 and lcm is 120
hence the answers can be
10 ,120 or 30,40
thier sum can be 130 or 70
hope it helps u......
