Breathing root:

Some mangrove plants like avicennia, Rhizopora, Bruguiera develop special kinds of roots for respiration because the soil becomes saturated with water and aeration is very poor. They have a number of breathing pores on pneumatophores for exchange of gases.

Binomial Nomenclature:

Each name has two components, a generic name and a specific epithet.This system of naming the organism is called Binomial Nomenclature.

Mitosis:

Mitosis occurs in shoot and root tips.The

number of chromosomes in the parent and the daughter cells remain the same so it is also called as equational division.

Dead cells.
