in the solution I have used to identities related to modulus inequalities.

these are

 |x| \leqslant y \:  \:  \:  \:  \\ then \:  - y \leqslant x \leqslant y

 |x|  \geqslant y \:

then \:  \: x \leqslant  - y \:  \: or \:  \\ x \geqslant y

now using these formulas make two cases and solve them separately and at last when two equations are formed take their intersection and find the final value of x

you can also find intersection of two equations with with the help of real number line
