To observe the internal structures of heart of any mammal, we have to follow the below given procedure :

1. First of all, we have to locate the given heart of mammal in a dissection pan. It must be planed in such a manner that the end which is pointed is towards us.

2. This pointed terminal is called Apex.

3. Position the left as well as right auricles of the heart in a proper way in the dissection pan.
