- The anemia of tropical sprue is most often macrocytic & related to Vitamin B & folate malabsorption.
- Light coloured stool
- Soft , bulky and greasy stool
- Usually foul smelling stool
- Chronic diarrhea
- Generally feeling of illness
- Weight loss.
- The antibiotic tetracycline treats the disorder.
