Given :- A spinner is divided into four equal sections numbered 1 to 4 if span 100 times there are a result of spin.

Number ----------- Number of times occur

1 ------------------------------- 28 times

2 ------------------------------- 35 times

3 ------------------------------- 25 times

4 ------------------------------- 12 times

To Find :-

1.Find the probability of that 4 will be spun.

2.Find the probability of that 3 will be spun.

3.Find the probability of that 2 will be spun.

4.Find the probability of that 1 will be spun.

Solution :-

→ Total number of outcomes = 100 .

so,

→ Total favourable outcomes of number 4 = 12

then,

→ The probability of that 4 will be spun = Total favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes = 12/100 = 3/25

and,

→ Total favourable outcomes of number 3 = 25

then,

→ The probability of that 3 will be spun = Total favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes = 25/100 = 1/4

and,

→ Total favourable outcomes of number 2 = 35

then,

→ The probability of that 2 will be spun = Total favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes = 35/100 = 7/20

and,

→ Total favourable outcomes of number 1 = 28

then,

→ The probability of that 1 will be spun = Total favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes = 28/100 = 7/25

Given :  A spinner is divided into four equal sections numbered 1 to 4

span 100 times there are a result of spin

Number   Times

1               28

2              35

3              25

4              12

To Find :

1.Find the probability of that 4 will be spun.

2.Find the probability of that 3 will be spun.

3.Find the probability of that 2 will be spun.

4.Find the probability of that 1 will be spun.

Solution:

Probability =   Favorable outcomes / Total outcomes

probability of that 4 will be spun. = 12/100  =  0.12

probability of that 3 will be spun. = 25/100  =  0.25

probability of that 2 will be spun. = 35/100  =  0.35

probability of that 1 will be spun. = 28/100  =  0.28
