In the poem " The lake of Innisfree", the poet says Innisfree is a peaceful place located away from the common dim of towns and cities. The poet is presently living in the London city which is full of common din. One cannot attain peace of mind. So, he says that he wants to go at once to the lake isle of Innisfree. He wants to make a small cabin of clay, he wants to have nine bean rows and a hive for the honey bee and wants to live alone there. He is fed up by staying in the city which is full of pollution, sounds of patrolling cars etc.
