Answer: BRILLIANT ANSWER

lakshman lal gave property to wife = 60000*75/100 =

45000

lakshman lal gave property to son = 60000*15/100 =

9000

remaning percent =75+15-100=10%

property he gave to charity = 60000*10/100=6000

Given,

Lakshman Lal owned property worth rupees 60000.

He gave  75% of his property to his wife, 15% to his son and remaining to charity.

We have to calculate what amount were received by his wife and son.

We have to calculate the given percentages of total value

Formula,

x% of y = \frac{x}{100}\times y

Now,

His wife received property

75% of 60000 = \frac{75}{100}\times60000

= 45000

His son received property

15% of 60000= \frac{15}{100}\times 60000

= 9000

Therefor, his wife and son received amount were 45000 and 9000.
