Ratio of notes is 2:3:5

Let the Rs. 100 be 2x ,

Rs. 50 be 3x and

Rs. 10 be 5x

Rs. 100 = 2x = 2 × 100 = 200x

Rs. 50 = 3x = 3 × 50 = 150x

Rs. 10 = 5x = 10 × 5 = 50x

According to the question lakshmi has total Rs. 4,00,000

200x + 150x + 50x = Rs. 4,00,000

400x = Rs. 4,00,000

x = 4,00,000/400

x = 1000

Therefore,

Rs. 100 = 2x = 2 × 1000 = 2000

Rs. 50 = 3x = 3 × 1000 = 3000

Rs. 10 = 5x = 5 × 1000 = 5000

Answer:

Number of 100 ₹ notes = 800

Number of 50 ₹ notes = 2,400

Number of 10 ₹ notes = 20,000

Step-by-step explanation:

Currency notes : 100 ₹ , 50 ₹, 10 ₹

Currency ratio : 2x : 3x : 5x

Total cash = 4,00,000 ₹

 Steps -

Let us think this;

2x = 100 ₹ notes

3x = 50 ₹ notes

5x = 10 ₹ notes

Then, let us make ourselves an equation to begin with ;

2x + 3x + 5x = 4,00,000

Next, you take all the numbers with variables (coefficents) and you add them together;

2x + 3x +5x = 10x

10x = 4,00,000

Then, you divide;

4,00,000 / 10 = 40,000

x = 40,000

After this step, you make a chart out like this;

2x = 40,000 * 2

3x = 40,000 * 3

5x = 40,000 * 5

When you finish, you multiply them;

2x = 4,00,00 * 2 = 80000

3x = 4,00,00 * 3 = 1,20,000

5x = 4,00,00 * 5 = 2,00,000

Then, make these numbers the value of each denomination;

Value of 100 ₹ notes = 80,000 ₹

Value of 50 ₹ notes = 1,20,000 ₹

Value of 10 ₹ notes = 2,00,000 ₹

Then you divide;

80000 / 100 = 800

1,20,000 / 50 = 2,400

2,00,000 / 10 = 20,000

So the answer to this question is:

Number of 100 ₹ notes = 800

Number of 50 ₹ notes = 2,400

Number of 10 ₹ notes = 20,000

I really hope this helped you to solve your problem.
