Step-by-step explanation:

Let the common ratio to be x

According to question

it will be 2x, 3x, 5x

Amount of 100 rupees notes = Rs ( 100×2x)

= Rs 200x

Amount of 50 rupees notes = Rs,(50 × 3x)

= Rs 150x

Amount of 10 rupees notes = Rs 50x

Total amount is 4,00,000

.

. . 200x + 150x + 50x = 4,00,000

400x = 4,00,000

x =4,00,000

400

x = 1000

No. of Rs 100 notes = 2x = 2 × 1000 =2000

No. of Rs 50 notes = 3x = 3× 1000 = 3000

No. of Rs 10 notes = 5x = 5× 1000 = 5000

hence,

No. of notes are 2000, 3000,5000
