Answer:Answer:

Let 100 rupee be 100x

50 rupee be50x

10 rupee be 10x

Now,

Value of 100 rupee 50 rupee and 10 rupee be 2*100x ,3*50x ,5*10x

= 200x+150x+50x= 400000

400x=400000

X= 1000

No of 100 rupee notes=200*1000=200000

No of 50 rupee notes =150*1000=150000

No of 10 rupee coin = 50*1000=50000

Given

Ratio of all the Notes 100, 50, 10= 2:3:5

Total Cash=4,00,000

To Assume

How many notes of each denomination does she have?

Solution

Let the no. be \color{orange}{X}

Notes \:  \:  of  \: \:  ₹ \: 100=2x \\ Notes \:  \:  of  \:  \:₹ \: 50=3x \\ Notes \:  \:  of \:  \: ₹ \: 10=5x

Total number of

100 = 2x \times 100 = 200x \\ 50 = 3x \times 50 = 150x \\ 10 = 5x \times 10 = 50x

Total Cash:-₹4,00,000

200x + 150x + 50x =4,00,000

\color{hotpink}{200x + 150x + 50x}=4,00,000

\color{hotpink}{400}x=\color{crimson}{4,00,000}

X = \color{hotpink}{ \frac{400000}{400}}

X = \color{crimson}{1000}

  • Notes of ₹100=2x=2(1000)= ₹2000
  • Notes of ₹50=3x=3(1000)= ₹3000
  • Notes of ₹10=5x=5(1000)= ₹5000

Verification :-₹2000 + ₹3000 + ₹5000 = ₹4,00,000

∴ Lakshmi has Notes of ₹100 = ₹2000

Notes of ₹50 = ₹3000

Notes of ₹10 = ₹5000

Thank you!
