Answer:Rs 100-notes=2000

Rs 50-notes=3000

Rs 10-notes=50

Explanation: Let the number of : Rs 100-notes=2

Rs 50-notes=3

Rs 10-notes=5

value of Rs 100-notes=2 ×Rs 100

Rs 200

Value of Rs 50-notes=3×Rs 50= Rs 150

value of Rs 10 we have 10-notes=5×Rs

10 =Rs 50

According to the condition we have Rs

200+Rs 150+Rs 150 + Rs 50=Rs 400000

OR 200+150+50=400000

OR 400=400000

Dividing both sides by 400 we have =400000÷400=1000

2=2x1000=2000

3=3x=1000=3000

5=5x1000=5000

Rs 100-notes=2000

Rs 50-notes=3000

Rs 10-notes=5000

Let the numbers of notes of ₹100, ₹50 and ₹10 be 2x, 3x and 5x respectively.

  • Value of ₹100 = 2x × 100 = 200x

  • Value of ₹50 = 3x × 50 = 150x

  • Value of ₹10 = 5x × 10 = 50x

According to the question,

200x + 150x + 50x = 4,00,000

⇒ 400x = 4,00,000

⇒ x = 400000/400

⇒ x = 1000

Numbers of ₹100 notes = 2x = 2000

Numbers of ₹50 notes = 3x = 3000

Numbers of ₹10 notes = 5x = 5000
