Lalitha took a parcel from a hotel to celebrate her birthday with her friends. It was billed with ₹1,450 including 5% VAT. Lalitha asked for some discount, the hotel owner gave 8% discount on the bill amount. Now find the actual amount that Lalitha had to pay to the hotel owner​

vat =5%

if we see question clearly we see that it's written 8% on bill amount which is actually amount excluding vat so = bill amount = 1377.5 rs

so now discount 8% on 1377.5 rs = RS 1267.3 is bill amount after discount

if we including vat for final amount it will be 5% ON RS 1267.3= RS 1330.665

final amount lalitha had to pay is RS 1330.65
