continuous use of land over a long period of time without taking appropriate measures to conserve and manage it , has resulted in land degradation.

3.over irrigation and water lodging lead to land degradation.

4.mineral processing like grinding of limestone for cement industry.

5.industial effluents as watse has resulted in land degradation.

Agricultural depletion of soil nutrients through poor farming practices. Livestock including overgrazing and overdrafting.
