the land effects the natural vegetation directly as well as the indirectly .
It directly effects the nature of the vegetation which is going to grow like a fertile and level land used for the farming purpose while in case of uneven land the grassland or may be the woodland flourish .
The type of soil also determines the nature of vegetation like in a desert soil you will see low diversity of the vegetation and only plants like cactus which consume low water and are adaptable to those soil.
The nutrient in the soil effects the growth of the vegetation the more the nutrients means the more will be fertility which means the more vegetation.
Also the properties of soil indirectly effects the vegetation because it tells about the thing like water holding capacity of soil etc which ultimately determines which type of vegetation is suitable to grow .
