Land is required to produce crops. Moreover, the same land is used by the industries to manufacture goods. This land is used in a different way in rural areas. Land is used to cultivate crop.

However, it is unfortunate that people who are doing farming do not have enough land. The elite class people in every village have acres of lands and many Dalits do not hold any land.

In urban, land is used for building hospitals, bus terminals, parks, educational institutions whereas in rural areas, lands are used for both farming and non-farming activities.
