Hey Mate! Here's ur answer.
Though land is fixed, but the area of cultivation can be increased by the following ways :-
1. By using modern farming methods.(HYV seeds, Machines)
2. By using better irrigation facilities.
3. By using insecticides or pesticides to protect the crops.
4. By using chemical fertilizers for increasing soil fertility.
5. By doing Mixed cropping & Multiple cropping.
