There was no private ownership of land in the pre-british india. There was a cooperative life system and no private owned land

During the pre-British India there was no such ownership of land,it was after the rule of the Britishers that all the Indian men's and women's got introduced to the new system called the private property.

Private property was basically when the land was given to people who owned it through legal papers and legalizing the procedures needed for owning the property.
