Law of Conservation of Mass
Matter cannot be created nor destroyed; there are no more atoms at the end of a chemical reaction than there were at the beginning.
For examples:-
2 H2 + 1 O2 → 2 H2O
You can see that we started with total 4 atoms of Hydrogen and 2 atoms of oxygen. On reactant side we get exactly same number of atoms as we started with. Also type of atom has not changed, they are mere rearranged and formed different compound with different chemical properties.
