In my own opinion technological changes cannot possibly lead to increased rates of unemployment although it is possible for some workers to lose their jobs temporarily. For instance most of the workers in Britain are employed in the agriculture sector and therefore most of them lost their jobs after the innovation of labour saving technology. Nevertheless, while jobs got lost in agriculture, there were new jobs created through introduction of machines to the market.

I hope you find this helpful.

Unemployment caused from technological advancements is in a kind a curse in disguise. Changes in technology like introduction of labour saving machines or as we call it the "mechanical mind" is taking away the livelihood of many human being in modern times. The rural people, who are dependent on these industries which recruit them as labourers, they are no longer of use to the industry. Hence, their families do no get food and neither are these labourers given employment easily. Even though they are willing to work, they have no work.
