Laser surgery uses fine laser beams to cut, irradiate or vaporise soft tissues in the human body, instead of using scalpels. These laser beams are of different wavelengths, powerful, fine and very precise. They are controlled by highly sophisticated computer devices, that regulate the beams. It does the job in a fraction of a second. The most common use of laser in surgery, are for eye surgeries.

Surgical lasers use carbon dioxide, argon etc.
