Last night, the temperature at midnight outside Peter’s home was –2° Celsius. By 3:00 a.m., the temperature had changed by –8° Celsius. Which equation correctly finds the sum of –2 and –8?

Answer:

Temperature at 6:00 p.m =37C

Temperature at midnight,i.e 12:00 a.m =31C

Difference in temperature > 6hours=(37-31)C

>6 hours =6C

>1 hour = 1 C

Temperature decrease about 1Cbin every one hour.
