  2. Pressure groups are confined to a particular domain, but a political party has no such limitation. Any person can join a political party.
  3. Pressure groups aim at exerting influence while political parties aim at acquiring powers.
  4. Pressure groups are informal, conceited and unrecognized entity while political parties are formal, open and recognized entity.
  5. Pressure groups are not accountable to the people while political parties are.
