Hello friend,
a. The man in his whole life have gone through many trying circumstances with lots of ups and downs, that's why his only journey of life is refered to as 'strange eventful history'
b. The end of this strange eventful history eventually reaches the death of the man.
c. Old age is second childishness because in this age the man have become once more helpless and dependent on his caretakers. However the difference between them is that a child have his whole life to go through the different stages of life whereas the man have passed through all the stages of life and will ultimately meet the horns of death.
