Answer :-

  • Total weight of grapes we expect to pick is 6313 kg.

Explanation :-

Let x be the total weight of grapes .

Last week we picked 1\3 of the grapes or 1\3x.

This week we picked 1\4 of the grapes or 1\4x.

  • Over these two weeks we have picked 1\3x+1\4x=3682 kg of grapes

Multiply both sides of the equation by the common denominator 12.

Now,

\implies12(1\3x+1\4x)=12(3682)

\implies4x+3x=44184

\implies7x=44184

\impliesx=6312 kg

Hence, the total weight of grapes we expect to pick is 6313 kg.

Answer :

Total weight of grapes we expect to pick : 6313 kg.

Given:

➛Last week we picked 1/3 of our grapes.

➛This week we picked 1/4 of them .

➛we have picked 3682 kg what.

To Find:

The total weight of grapes we expect to pick.

Solution:

Let m be the total weight of grapes .

As given,

➡Last week we picked {\rm{\dfrac{1}{3} }} of the grapes or {\rm{\dfrac{1}{3m} }}.

➡This week we picked {\rm{\dfrac{1}{4} }} of the grapes or {\rm{\dfrac{1}{4m} }}.

Over these two weeks we have picked{\rm{\dfrac{1}{3m} + \dfrac{1}{4m} =3682}} kg of grapes.

Multiply both sides of the equation by the common denominator 12.

Now,

{\implies{\rm{12 ( \dfrac{1}{3m} + \dfrac{1}{4m } ) =12(3682)}}} \\

{\implies{\rm{4m+3m=44184}}} \\

{\implies{\rm{7m=44184}}} \\

{\implies{\rm{m=\dfrac{44184}{7}}}} \\

{\implies{\blue{\boxed{\pink{\star{\rm{m=6131}}}}}}} \\

Hence, the total weight of grapes we expect to pick is 6313 kg.
