Last Winter, I painted our truck. The job took about two weeks to finish. First, I washed the exterior using warm water and a mild detergent. Then all the rusty areas and the dents in the body of the truck were sealed with car wax. After the wax had a chance to dry, the exterior was ready to be painted over. I used a latex paint because anyone can apply it easily and clean it up with water. A whole week was spent to finish this part of the job. I very carefully applied the paint evenly so that a second coat didn’t need to be painted. A color was used that was very close to the original color. Our truck is a giant one, which meant that a tall ladder was needed by me to do the top of the truck convert into passive voice
