Step-by-step explanation:

lata reads first day 2/9X

then left 1X-2/9X=7/9X

on second day she reads remaining 4/5X

7/9x×4/5=28/45X

then left of book=7/9X-28/45X=7/45X

so, 7/45X=49

X=49×45/7=7×45=315

Answer Step by step:

Let the number of pages be x

Number of pages read on the first day = 2x/9

Number of pages read on the second day = 4x/5

Number of the pages left to read = 49

Total number of pages in the book = [49 + 2x/9 + 4x/5]=x

=> LCM- 45 => [2,205/45 + 10x/45 + 36x/45]=x => [36x/45 +2,205/45]=x

=>  36x + 2,205 = 45x => 45x - 36x = 2,205 => 9x = 2,205 =>  x = 245

Therefore, 245 pages are in the book.
