She pays 15% of her salary as rent

= 15% of ₹25000

= 15/100 × ₹25000

= (15×25000)/100

= 15×250

= 3750

Hence, House rent = ₹3750

She spends ₹8500 on grocery

Percent of her salary she spend on grocery

= (8500/25000) × 100

= (8500×100)/25000

= 850000/25000

= 850/25

= 34%
