hey mate
here is your answer
latent heat of ice =80cal/gm
=336j/gm
mass of the ice =60 gm
Time=1 min
=60s
heat energy =336*60
=20160 j
thus,the power=energy /time
=20160/60
=336 watt

First of all:
We assume that ice at 0 C melts to water at 0 C
Then the work done in melting:
Q = L m
==> Q = 80 cal / g * 60 g
==> Q = 4800 cal
1 cal = 4 . 2 J
==> 4800 cal = 4.2*4800 J
==> 20160 J
Now 1 minute = 60 s
So:
Power = work / time
= 20160 J / 60 s
= 336 J / s
=336 W
The power is 336 W.
Hope it helps you
