What are lines of latitude and longitude?
Latitudes: are angles which ranges from 0° at the Equator to 90° at the North and South poles. They run east to west as circles parallel to the equator.
Longitudes: are the angular distance of a place east or west of the Greenwich meridian, or west of the standard meridian of a celestial object, usually expressed in degrees and minutes.
