Laura solves a problem in 3 minutes.Alia solves the same problem in 1/5 of the time.
How long does it take Alia to solve the problem? Explain it :)

Laura takes 3 mins or 180 secs to solve the problem and alia takes 1/5 of the time Laura takes to solve the problem... so the word 'of ' always refers to multiplication and so gotta multiply 180 and 1/5 =180/5 = 36 secs...so the final answer is : Alia takes 36 secs to solve the problem.
