Laurence Skikne changed his name to Laurence Harvey and found fame. Though his real name was Laurence Mischa Skikne. He was born in the October of 1928.

Laurence Harvey was one of the most popular and active actors during the period between 1948 and 1973.

He acquired his name of Laurence Harvey when we made his British Film debut with House of Darkness. This was due to the fact that distributors didn't think that Laurence Skikne was a marketable name.
