Law is critical for regulating our life as well as to guarantee liberty and equality for all.

The general laws and the rules/ principles in the constitution both are necessary for proper development within the country.

They acts as a guideline as to what is accepted in the society and govern the behavior of the people.

Also they are made according to the priniciples of the constitution which guarntee several rights to the citizens.Eg right to equality ,freedom etc.

There are total 6 types of fundamental rights.

The laws make sure that the miscreants are penalised the victims are brought to justice.

Abolition of untouchability ,dowry, child marriage, triple talaq law etc- shows us how laws bring about social change and ensure smooth functioning of the society.
