lawns to improve drainage and to produce healthy green grass. One manufacturer of lawn sand claims that
their mixture is made from equal weights of sand and fertilizer.

The separation of both the elements in the mixture can be done via filterization

If the particle size of sand and fertiliser are different then and are not dissolved in each other, then using filter would solve the problem. Then to compare the weight of each, take the weight of filtered element and the one not filtered and then we can find if weights of each is same or not
