There are some schemes regarding conservation of trees, forests,etc. We are not allowed to cut trees. For example, some schemes and programmes are
National River Conservation Plan
Ecomark Scheme of India (ECOMARK) - Ecomark Labelling
National Afforestation Programme: A Participatory Approach to Sustainable Development of Forests
National Action Programme to Combat Desertification
Grants-in-aid Scheme for Voluntary Agencies, etc.
